My name is Jessica Landmon and this will be my second year at Leeds Middle School. I graduated from UAB where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. I then continued my education at the University of Montevallo where I earned a Master of Education degree focusing on School Counseling. Additionally, I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC). In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling with my husband, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Chicago Cubs.
I am so grateful to be a part of the Leeds family and excited to be able to work with you and your student again this year! My main goal as your child's counselor is to make sure that they are safe and successful in all they do here at Leeds Middle School, both academically and socially. While middle school can be a trying time in any child's life, I strive to make this stage as positive as possible. I do this through classroom guidance, small group counseling, and individual counseling. I make it a point to be visible to our students throughout their day and get to know them so that if there is ever a time they need to talk, they feel comforted by a familiar face. If there is anything I can ever do to aide in your student's overall success, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am so excited to see what this school year holds! Thank you for all you do to support your child and our community.
