Biography- Mark Glenn (7th grade Civics/Geography)

Welcome to Coach Glenn's web page!  I am entering my 12th year in education and coaching.  My wife, Amy, and I have 4 children- Easton (1), Luke (5), Mari Beth (9), and Jackson (9).  I love American history and anything to do with baseball! Including my teaching duties, I also am an assistant baseball coach for our Varsity program and assist with middle school football.  I graduated from Holly Pond High School (Cullman County) in 1997.  From there, I graduated from Calhoun Community College in Decatur in 2000 where I was fortunate to continue playing baseball (left-handed pitcher).  I earned my Bachelor's degree in social science/secondary education in 2003 from Alabama A&M University in Huntsville where I also continued to pitch.  Finally, I received my Master's degree in physical education in 2016 from the University of West Alabama.  My hobbies include pitching for the Birmingham Braves in the 35+ Birmingham Metro Baseball League, working out, and taking care of my yard.  I attend Leeds United Methodist Church with my family, and I enjoy spending time with them.
