Cendy W Beasley
Special Education Teacher
I am a graduate of Leeds High School and grew up in Leeds. After completing high school, I attended UAB and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Special Education. In 2001, I married my husband Eddie, and began teaching at Rudd Middle School in Pinson, Alabama. After two years of teaching in Pinson, I made the move to Leeds Middle School and began teaching Special Education students when Leeds became its own city school system. In May 2006, I received my Masters degree in Collaborative Teaching. In August 2007, I had my son Wilson. This year Wilson will be entering the 4th grade at Leeds Elementary School.
During my education in the Leeds schools, my favorite school and fondest memories where made at Leeds Middle School and it is my honor and privilege to come back and teach here. Although I no longer live in Leeds I still have strong ties to the community since I am beginning my 14th year to teach at LMS and 16th overall years of teaching.
At LMS, I have been a member of many committee’s and previously sponsored the National Junior Honor Society. I am currently working with 7th and 8th grade students at LMS and helping to prepare them for transitioning to Leeds High School and becoming independent and successful students.
